2025 Acadia Introduces New Package And Seating Flexibility

The Front Profile of The Fabulous 2024 GMC Acadia Denali

The Acadia was completely redesigned for 2024, and usually, the year after a redesign, a model will have few, if any, changes. However, that is not the case with the 2025 Acadia, which adds some new packages and options to increase capability, bringing even more reasons to consider a GMC Acadia from GMC of Rochester.

New for the 2025 Acadia is the Adventure Package. This may sound like a set of features to increase off-road capability, but the Acadia already has the AT4 model for that purpose.  Instead, the Adventure Package consists of:

  • Molded assist steps
  • Roof rack cross rails
  • 18-inch gloss black wheels with black lug nuts, wheel locks, and center caps
  • Tire pressure monitor

The first two features expand the Acadia’s adventure gear capability. The roof rack cross rails allow the roof to hoist items like bicycles, kayaks, skis, snowboards, or an all-purpose cargo box. The molded assist steps complement the cross bars by making the Acadia roof easier to access, thus facilitating the loading of any items above. They also make entry and egress easier.

Previously unavailable for the 2024 model, eight-passenger seating will also be available on the Acadia Elevation trim level. The second-row caption chairs will be replaced with a bench that seats three.

The Spacious Cargo Space Of The 2024 GMC Acadia Denali

These options aside, the Acadia remains largely unchanged from its 2024 redesign, which saw it grow 10.6 inches longer and 3.2 inches taller than the previous design. This increased cargo space by 80% behind the third-row seats and 36% with the third-row seats down.

All Acadias are powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to either the front wheels or all four. The off-road-focused AT4 comes standard with a more robust Active Torque Control AWD system. In addition to having more interior space, the Acadia is rated to tow 5,000 pounds when equipped with the Trailering Package.

The Astounding And Improved 2024 GMC Acadia Denali's Steering Wheel And Interactive Infotainment Center

With their redesigned interior from last year, all Acadia models feature a standard 11.0-inch digital driver’s information center and a standard 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen in portrait format.

The Acadia is a spacious, comfortable, and efficient SUV ready to satisfy any family’s outdoor activities and daily routine. Test drive one at GMC of Rochester.
